Age Verification and YOU!

There is a new age verification process in place. You might be wondering how to complete it, no worries! This is what you need to know about the new age verification system!

What you will see

The checkout page looks different, that will be the first thing you notice. While you are there, here is how the process will go:

  1. You log in with your account or create one if you're new. Welcome, by the way!
  2. Enter your shipping address.
  3. Enter your birthday
  4. Next is the last four of your SSN (social security number). This is not required, but it does help to verify the information for shipping.
    1. If you are shipping to someone else, make sure you enter their information, not yours. They're verified with you on the same order. If you are shipping to yourself at another address, the last four of your SSN will help the system verify you.
  5. Now your billing address goes in.
    1. When you're billing to a different address, you will want to fill out the same information as earlier. Including your name, address and birthday. The last four of your SSN will help here, too.
  6. Submit your order and let the system do its work!

What is the process?

The information you enter in checkout is verified through public record. This happens in the background, so you may not see it at all. Our age verification system will need a moment to work when you submit your order. Stick around to make sure that your order is complete.

What does the pop-up mean?

You may see a pop-up after you submit your order. That means that your order is in, but that we need a little bit more information from you. The pop-up will ask you to submit your ID for verification. Acceptable forms of identification are Driver's License, US Passport, or your Government Issued ID.

Your ID is not stored with; it is only available for our verification team to use once. If they need a better picture - because it's blurry or cropped - they will email you. You can always reach out to our customer service team if you have any questions!

You have completed the age verification process when you receive a confirmation email. That email will tell you that your order is awaiting fulfillment, and you are all set!

Note: Only the information used in the order is verified. If the information changes on your next order - name, or one of the addresses - the new info will need verification.
