We will be comparing 4 vape pod devices: The Vapeccino Mate 1, the Suorin Air Ultra, the Suorin Drop Ultra and the Kilo 1K Ultra. We will take these vape pod devices and compare them in the three main categories battery life, pod and overall size/shape.
Battery life is always good to know because it will help you determine how long you can use it before you will need to charge it again. The higher the milliamp-hour (mAh), the longer you can go between charges.
- 1K Ultra by Kilo has a 350mAh internal battery
- Mate1 by Vapeccino has a 410mAh internal battery with quick charging (25 min to fully charge)
- Drop Ultra by Suorin has a 310mAh internal battery
- Air Ultra by Suorin has a 400mAh internal battery
- Also notable but not in our comparison is the VooPoo Panda AIO Pod System with 1100mAh
After looking at how long the battery might last you can clearly see the Mate1 and the Air Ultra have a longer battery life. The Mate1 even has quick charging and can be fully charged within 25 minutes, but don’t let that alone make the decision for you.
The pods or cartridges are just as important as the battery. Let's go over a few pros and cons for each vape pod device we are comparing.
*Non-refillable pods can be a pro or a con depending on what you are looking for in a vape pod device. *MTL is Mouth to Lung and DL is Direct to Lung.
Size and Shape
While most vape pod devices are small and discrete, they come in different shapes also. The 1K by Kilo and the Mate1 by Vapeccino are “stick or pin” style and very close to the same size and weight. However, the Drop Ultra and Air Ultra from Suorin are shaped a bit differently.
The Drop Ultra is shaped like a raindrop; the mouthpiece is thin and narrow whereas the battery portion is wide and thick. The Air Ultra, on the other hand, is a rectangle shape no bigger than a credit card and 8mm thick.
It doesn’t matter if you choose the “stick or pin” shape, drop shape or rectangle they will all be small and discrete, perfect for your pocket or purse as well.
Comparing the top four of the hottest pod vapes, you can tell they are similar with some differences with the biggest differences being shape and size. Overall, when picking out a vape pod device, it is going to come down to your preference and what you are looking for.
