How did the franchise get started?

In 2012, three friends embarked on a quest to create a brand that would provide creative, delicious flavors, a unique approach to customer service, and a price point that couldn’t be beat. This zany, fun-loving, customer-oriented brand has grown into one of the largest manufacturers and distributors of vaping products in the world and you now can be apart of the ride with our new franchising opportunities. We have assembled a great crew of supporting staff to ensure a smooth experience and help create a successful environment for our franchisees.

What are your criteria for choosing a franchisee?

Our ideal candidate will have a passion to serve the customer and a commitment to empower their employees. Further, our candidates should have an understanding of brand-building within the community through the use of local area marketing, as well as, a demonstrated ability to build a high-performance team dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction. Lastly, our ideal candidate should have the desire and financial resources to develop or purchase one or more VapeWild Franchise Store(s).

How much do I have to invest before I can open my doors?

The cost of opening a VapeWild Franchise Store can range between $85,000 and $156,000 (depending on the location), which includes the franchise fee, build-out, and initial startup expenses. This range can be significantly reduced with our store conversion program that current vape shop owners can take advantage to join VapeWild as a franchisee.

How much liquid capital will I need to maintain to cover the franchise until it breaks even?

We would recommend having between three to six months worth of capital to cover costs after opening.

What are the ongoing fees? How do your royalties and marketing fees work?

Currently there is a 1% of gross sales for local ad expenditures and a 1% of gross sales advertising fee for marketing and brand support. There is also a 5% of gross sales that is paid as a franchise royalty fee.

What support do you offer beyond the initial training?

Aside from the initial training, opening-the-doors support, and general business consultation, you can also expect inclusion in our national marketing program, most up-to-date products, product training, compliance and regulatory support and guidance, and operational and systems integration and improvements.

What kind of input will I have in marketing and advertising?

Our ideal candidate will help build our brand within the community and have the desire to market and advertise in the local area. If a franchisee chooses, they can spend more on local advertising and we will provide some reimbursement of the ongoing marketing fee. Our franchisees will have the ability to choose local area marketing efforts with support from our marketing team.

What kind of input will I have in product selection, merchandising, and pricing?

We do not pretend to know everything, so we take input from individual franchisees very seriously. This definitely applies to product selection in local stores. All you have to do is get approval and we will source those products for you and send them as quickly as possible. Our prices will remain relatively constant through all channels and thereby franchisees do not have as much input on pricing.

What is the term of the franchise agreement?

The initial term of our franchise agreement is 10 years with up to two 5 year successor terms.
