Vape RTAs (Rebuildable Tank Atomizer)

Rebuildable Tank Atomizers, RTA for short, combine the convenience of a tank with the ability for a vaper to build their own coils, rather than using pre-built coils as you would in a standard tank. That’s a lot of vape lingo, but don’t worry, it’s not nearly as complicated as it sounds. Essentially if you’re looking for a way to be able to build your own coils, but not have to regularly drip juice onto your cotton, an RTA might be right up your alley. In addition, RTAs are a great way to start learning how to build your own coils. With a wide selection of RTA vape options available, you’re sure to be able to find the right RTA that fits your needs. We offer full RTA tanks and RTA replacement decks for some varieties of tanks that take pre-built coils. They’re all excellent options for you to choose from, and more are being released and added all the time. Take a look through our selection and see if one of these beauties speaks to you. As always, if you have questions about which RTA is right for you, just hit up our award winning customer service in the live chat. What is the difference between an RTA and an RDA?

RTA (Rebuildable Tank Atomizers) and RDA (Rebuildable Drip Atomizers) are two different types of RBAs (Rebuildable Atomizers).  The main difference between these two are tank versus drip. Both have their advantages, depending on what vaping experience you want to achieve.

RDAs tend to be more popular in the production of huge clouds with each hit. They require you to literally “drip” your juice and vape, puff, then drip some more. This is a good option if you want variety - it allows you to change your flavor after two or three puffs.

RTAs are an actual tank system, which you fill up and vape until it’s empty, then you fill again. This is a convenient option for vapors on the go - you don’t have to drip after a few puffs, rather just fill the tank after its depleted.

What is better to buy - an RDA, RTA, or RTDA?

When asking which one is better to buy, it all comes down to what one sees as convenient. RDAs allow variety with each vape and produce plumes of tasty clouds, but also require the user to drip after every few puffs. This is not the best road trip friendly option. RTAs provide the convenience of being able to fill it and forget it, however sacrifices the immediate change in flavors. RTDAs, or Rebuildable Tank Drip Atomizers, are the merger of these two concepts, and allows you to both drip and also fill a tank when you’re on the go.

Which RTA tank should I buy?

When shopping for the perfect RTA tank, two important factors to consider when buying are material and size. If you are prone to dropping your device multiple times a day, durability is important. If you don’t want to carry around a bottle of juice to drip every few puffs, you may prefer a larger RTA tank. You can find a wide variety of different tanks in various color choices to satisfy your specific needs.

How is this different than a standard vape tank?

A standard vape tank uses coils that are premade and packaged to be ready to vape in a neat little cylinder. An RTA requires you to build the coils and install them allowing for a huge amount of customization. Though one can get lost in the lingo of specifics, most vapors feel RTAs provide the most bang for your buck in terms of flavor and vape production over a standard vape tank. The only downside is some are prone to leak, but with proper care and use, this issue can easily be prevented.

What is the best RTA to buy?

This is totally on personal preference. There are a multitude of RTA options, all which will cater to one’s specific needs. Bottom line - it’s about recognizing your vaping desires. And as always, if you have any questions about which RTA is right for you, hit up our customer service in the live chat and they will be happy to assist you in picking the perfect tank.
